Traditional red wine vinification in a brand-new winery. Ageing in barrels from a variety of different cooperages, all medium toast, mostly French with a couple of American ones (Mendocino). One third renewed every year. Racking every three months before bottling (fifteen months after the harvest).
Grape Variety: Merlot 70 %, Cabernet Sauvignon 20 %, Cabernet Franc 10 %
Cherry and blackberry nose with toasted notes from the ageing in barrels.
Deep purple colour.
Very structured and powerful in the mouth. This wine is both enjoyable young and worthy of ageing. There is enough fruit to make the wine enjoyable by itself;
