A beautifully complex whisky with a unique toastiness at its heart, this stunning 10-Year-Old is the culmination of years of careful experimentation by our master distiller. Graham Coull hand-picked outstanding vintages of Glen Moray Elgin Classic near the end of its aging process and considered how it could be further transformed. He then selected the finest virgin American oak barrels for finishing, oversaw the firing of the casks to achieve just the right level of char… and then waited patiently. Over 10 magical months, our master craftsmen kept careful watch as the high-quality casks imparted their riches, producing a unique marriage of great flavour and intense colour.
Nose: A sweet shop in a glass. Barley sugars, pineapple chunks and butter toffees – take your pick!
Taste: Notes of blackcurrant jam and chewy liquorice toffee. Pleasantly sweet and spicy with layers of vanilla oak.
Finish: Dark chocolate dissolves over the tongue, then fades to reveal a hint of smokiness and toasted vanilla.

Boiling sweets reach the roof of the mouth before emergence of liquorice, rea and nut oil. The finish I medium in length with toffee, blackcurrants and a hint of liquorice

Glen Moray 30 year old is an extremely rare and limited whisky from this Speyside distillery. It was distilled using slightly peated barley. The distillery has not used peated barley since the 70s. This single malt release consisted of only 6000 bottles. It comes in a wooden box with authenticity certificate. Very few bottles remain available. Once it’s gone, it will be gone forever.
