The Tomatin 14 Year Old is soft, smooth and sweet, benefiting from its time spent in Tawny Port casks which previously held port for around 50 years.

TOMATIN DECADES II

The Tomatin Decades II is rich and complex, having been matured in traditional Scotch whisky, ex-Bourbon, ex-Sherry and re-charred French oak casks hand selected from various vintages spanning the last 50 years. An initial burst of citrus fruits reveals flavours of freshly baked pastry, dried fruit and exotic spices before the long, waxy, tropical finish.
Aroma:
An initial burst of citrus fruits gives way for hints of sweet pastry and wood shavings. Cooked fruits are balanced by softer floral and coconut tones. There is an overall sense of maturity with dried fruits, almonds and exotic spices adding real depth.
Palate :
Unctuous with Christmas cake, maple syrup and fresh red berries. In time tropical fruits emerge with orange peel and ginger.
Finish:
Long and waxy with tropical fruit, chocolate and spice.
